How do you promote a product launch for your SaaS product?

A SaaS launch video has one job: tell a person who's already busy what's new, what it costs to try, and by when. Skip the logo animation and the mission statement. Open on the screen doing the thing it now does — the new dashboard, the button that wasn't there last week — and put the offer in text within the first three seconds: what's included, what it costs to start, and the date it opens or closes. The studio builds this from a brief and a screen recording or a few product screenshots; nothing about your interface gets invented.

The first three seconds: the screen, mid-task

Open on the product doing something, not on a logo. A cursor dragging a deal between columns, a report building itself, an inbox collapsing from forty threads to four — screen recording you upload, cropped tight enough to read on a phone. Put the job in four or five words across the top: "Close the books in a day." Your interface is the hook; save the brand card for the last second.

Video Ads for SaaS Companies That Show the Product Doing the Work

Headline, offer and call to action

The headline names the product and the change it makes: "Now shipping" works where "Introducing" alone does not. State the offer plainly - the price, the launch bundle, the first-order discount - in words a stranger can repeat. End with one instruction rather than three: "Order at yourstore.com." AI narration can read the headline and the close while captions carry the product details, so the video still works with the sound off.

Launch your new product with a short video ad built from one brief

A brief you can paste

Paste this into the studio chat, or change the names and numbers first.

A 20-second launch video for our SaaS product, a new analytics dashboard shipping March 3rd. Open on the old cluttered dashboard for one second, then cut to the new one loading with real-looking numbers. Mid-section: three quick screen captures of the filter, the export button and the shared view. On-screen text: 'New: Analytics, live March 3rd. Free for 14 days.' Clean upbeat music, no cuts on lyrics. End card: product name, the date, and 'Start free' as the call to action. 16:9 for the website, 9:16 for LinkedIn.

Questions people ask

What should the first line of on-screen text say for a SaaS launch video?

Say what's new and when, not what the company believes in. 'New: Analytics, live March 3rd' beats a tagline. If there's a free trial or a launch price, put it in the same first three seconds — that's the line people screenshot before they read anything else.

How long should a SaaS product launch video be?

Fifteen to twenty seconds covers the feature, the offer and the date without padding. Thirty seconds works if you're showing two features instead of one. Keep the offer and call to action in the last three seconds either way, since that's what a scrolling viewer actually reads.
