How do you promote a yoga studio on Google Display?

Google Display banners run silent and small, often next to text someone is actually reading, so the first frame has to work with the sound off and the size down. A yoga studio needs one room shot, one line about the class or the intro offer, and a viewable-rate check once it's live: if view-through stays low, the opening frame is the problem, not the offer. Build the 16:9 first, since it covers the most inventory, then pull a 1:1 version for the placements that call for it. Both come from the same brief and the same room.

State the intro offer in one calm line

Newcomers want to know what one class costs and whether they can try before committing. Put a single line on screen, such as 'Three classes for 30 euros, any style, first-timers only,' and let the narration say it once in the same breath. Follow it with the level so nobody arrives at the wrong class: beginners welcome, no experience needed, mats provided. Close with the booking step and the street you are on.

Getting it into your campaign and making variants

Download the reviewed MP4 and upload it into your campaign; direct posting from the studio covers Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok and YouTube. Ask for a 6-second cut, a 15-second cut and both aspect ratios from the same brief so one plan fills several slots. Versions are kept, so you can re-render with a new headline and run the variants side by side.

A brief you can paste

Paste this into the studio chat, or change the names and numbers first.

A 15-second video for our yoga studio's Google Display campaign. Open on the studio floor at sunrise light, mats already rolled out, no people yet. Second shot: one teacher moving through a pose, room mostly empty. On-screen text: New student intro, 3 classes, one price. Calm instrumental track, no narration. End card: studio name, neighborhood, and the offer line held for two seconds. Deliver 16:9 and 1:1.

Questions people ask

Which metric shows the Google Display video is working?

View-through rate first — it shows whether the opening frame holds attention before anything else can. If it's low, the fix is usually the first two seconds, not the offer or the price. Click-through matters after that, once the frame is already working.

Should the yoga studio video use narration on Google Display?

Optional, and often skipped, since many display placements autoplay muted. Put the offer and the price in on-screen text instead, held long enough to read without sound. Narration can be added to a version aimed at placements where sound is expected.
