How to Promote Your Home Decor Shop on Facebook Reels

A customer is scrolling Reels on the sofa she's about to replace, and your ceramic vase set is on sale until Sunday. She will not read a caption. The first second has to show the vase, the second has to show the price, and the third has to tell her there are six left. That order is the whole strategy. Facebook Reels runs vertical at 1080 × 1920, five to sixty seconds, and the same file posts to Instagram Reels and Facebook Stories without a second edit. The offer belongs in the first three seconds, not the last.

The message: the object, the price, how many are left

Decor sells on specificity. Name the object, the material and the size, and say how many you have: "six left, hand-glazed, 24 cm." If it is a new arrival, put the day it landed on screen. Group each video around one theme rather than a tour of everything — a color, a material, a table setting. End on the shop name, the street and the hours, and read them in the narration.

Format, length and safe zones for Facebook Reels

Facebook Reels are 9:16 vertical and run up to 90 seconds. The studio renders 1080x1920 H.264 MP4 from 5 to 60 seconds, which covers most of that range in a single file. Keep prices, dates and the logo in the middle of the frame, away from the bottom caption area and the buttons down the right side, so nothing important is covered while the video plays.

A brief you can paste

Paste this into the studio chat, or change the names and numbers first.

A 12-second Facebook Reel for our home decor shop. Open on the ceramic vase set styled on the console table, camera pushing in slowly. Cut to the price tag close-up: $38, was $52. Then a shot of the shelf with only six left. On-screen text: Weekend sale, ends Sunday. Calm instrumental music, no narration. End on the shop name and a still frame of the vase, logo bottom corner, center kept clear for the caption.

Questions people ask

Where do I put the price so it doesn't get covered by Facebook's buttons?

Keep it in the top two-thirds of the frame. The comment and share icons sit on the right edge and the caption line sits at the bottom, so a price card centered or upper-third stays visible the whole time it's on screen.

Should the Reel show the product or the shop itself?

Open on the product, styled the way it sits on your shelf now — that's the frame that stops the scroll. Save the wider shop shot, if you use one, for the last second, after the price and the offer have already landed.
