How do you promote a product launch for your bakery?
Say what's new, when it's ready, and how long it lasts, before anything else. A croissant filled with something nobody's seen at your counter before is the whole video, not a warm-up to it. Open on the new item coming out of the oven or being boxed, put the name and the date it launches on screen in the first three seconds, and let the price sit there long enough to read twice. Skip the shop tour and the mixing-bowl montage. A fifteen-second Reel that shows the thing, says what it costs, and tells people which day to show up does more than a minute of atmosphere.

Where to run it and how long to make it
Morning scrollers are on Instagram Reels and Stories, so render 9:16 at 1080x1920 at about fifteen seconds. A 1:1 square works on the Facebook feed where regulars share your opening posts, and a 16:9 loop plays on a screen over the counter or on your order page. Keep the versions: when the seasonal cake changes, re-render the same cut with new photos instead of briefing it again.

Headline, offer and call to action
The headline names the product and the change it makes: "Now shipping" works where "Introducing" alone does not. State the offer plainly - the price, the launch bundle, the first-order discount - in words a stranger can repeat. End with one instruction rather than three: "Order at yourstore.com." AI narration can read the headline and the close while captions carry the product details, so the video still works with the sound off.

A 15-second Reel for our bakery's new product launch. Open on the new item — a pistachio croissant — coming out of the oven, steam visible. Cut to a close-up of it being boxed. On-screen text: New: Pistachio Croissant, from Saturday, $6.50. Upbeat music with a cut on the beat when the box closes. End on our bakery name and address, with a short line of narration: fresh every morning, starting Saturday. Keep the ratio 9:16.
Questions people ask
How far ahead should I post a bakery launch video?
A few days before the item is actually available works better than the morning of, since people need time to plan a stop. Name the exact day in the on-screen text — 'from Saturday' reads faster than 'coming soon' and tells someone when to act.
What length and format should a bakery launch video be?
Fifteen seconds in 9:16 covers Reels, Stories, TikTok and Shorts with one render. If the same launch is going on your website too, ask for a 16:9 or 1:1 version as a second version — the quote for that one comes back smaller.
