How do you promote a limited time offer for your university?
An application fee waiver that expires Friday or an early decision deadline in ten days needs to say so, clearly, before anything else. Open on the deadline itself — a calendar date, not the campus gate — then the waiver amount, then the program it applies to. One brief covers this: write the offer once, and the studio renders it as a 15-second Reel for prospective students, a 1:1 square for the parent Facebook group, and a 30-second 16:9 cut for the program page, all from the same plan. Change the deadline for a second wave later and it's a new version, not a new brief.

The first three seconds: campus, not the crest
Open on the place as it actually looks when students are in it: a lecture hall filling up, a lab bench mid-experiment, the walk between two buildings. Upload footage from your own library and let the crest arrive at the end. One line names the subject and the level — "BSc Marine Biology, September 2027" — so a prospective student knows within three seconds whether this is their course.

Headline, offer and call to action
Write the headline as the offer rather than as an adjective: "Two months free on an annual plan" instead of "a great deal". Name the condition in the same breath - new customers, first order, until the end of the month. The call to action is the redemption step: "Use code SPRING at checkout." Narration reads the offer once; subtitles hold the code and the date so nobody has to rewind.
Put a limited time offer on screen with a short video that states the termsA brief you can paste
Paste this into the studio chat, or change the names and numbers first.
A 20-second video for our university's early decision deadline, November 15th. Open on the date on screen: 'Apply by Nov 15.' Then a shot of a student walking across campus, then text: 'Waive your application fee.' Narration: short, direct, one sentence per screen. End card with the program name, the deadline again, and the admissions link. Need it in 9:16 for Instagram Stories and 1:1 for Facebook, same brief, both versions.
Questions people ask
Can the same offer video work for both Instagram Stories and the program page?
Yes — write the brief once and ask for it back in 9:16 for Stories and 16:9 for the program page. Each is a separate version from the same plan, so the deadline, waiver amount and program name stay consistent, and the second render costs less than the first.
What goes on screen if the deadline changes for a second application round?
Duplicate the approved version, swap the date and any changed terms, and render again. The original stays untouched since versions are immutable, so you can restore it free if the second round gets cancelled.
