How do you promote a grand opening on digital signage?

Open on the date and the address, full screen, before anything else. A logo tells a passerby nothing they don't already know; a date tells them to come back. Digital signage runs on a loop with no sound and no scroll, so the first frame has to work standing still, from ten feet away. Put the opening day and the street name in large text over a shot of the storefront or the space inside. Keep it to fifteen seconds so it loops twice a minute, and cut the rest — a countdown line, one line about what's inside, an end card that repeats the date.

Getting it onto the screens and making variants

Download the reviewed MP4 and load it into your signage player or media manager; the studio posts directly only to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok and YouTube. Ask for both a landscape and a portrait render from one brief so mixed screens match. Versions are kept, so the daily special or the seasonal offer is a re-render rather than a new job.

Digital signage videos that read in three seconds and loop all day

Headline, offer and call to action

Say where and when before anything else: "Now open at Rue Haute 12, Saturday from ten." The opening-day offer belongs in the middle of the video rather than the end - a free coffee with the first order, a gift with every purchase that weekend. The call to action is a visit, so name the street, add a map pin or a QR code. Narration reads the date; subtitles hold the address.

A 15-second video for our in-store digital sign, grand opening of a plant shop. Open on the storefront with a big text overlay: OPENING SATURDAY, MAY 10 — MAIN STREET. Middle: three quick shots inside, shelves of plants, someone watering, the register. Text: NEW DOWNTOWN. End card: shop name, address, and the date again, held for three seconds. No narration, just music. 1:1 for the screen, 9:16 as a second version for Stories.

Questions people ask

Does the video need sound for a storefront screen?

No. Most digital signage plays muted, so the date, address and offer have to work as text alone. A silent version still gets an audio track when rendered, so it plays fine anywhere sound is on, but nothing depends on it.

How long should a grand opening loop be on an in-store screen?

Fifteen seconds is enough to loop several times a minute without repeating too fast to read. Keep the date and address on screen for at least three of those seconds so someone glancing over can actually catch it.
