How do you make a 30-second summer sale video?

Thirty seconds is long enough to show two categories, the deal and an end date, with room to breathe between cuts. If you've already written a shorter version for Stories, don't start over: the same brief re-renders at 30 seconds for YouTube pre-roll or Instagram Reels, and the studio adjusts the pacing rather than composing from nothing. Open on the bright shot you already picked, hold the categories a beat longer this time, and give the end date its own three seconds at the close. One brief, three lengths, whatever the placement needs.

Bright open, categories, end date

Open in strong daylight on the product in use, on a body or outdoors, for the first two seconds, so the season is obvious before any text. From two to ten seconds, name the reduced categories one at a time with the old and new price on each. From ten seconds, put the end date and where the sale runs, in store and online, on one card and hold it to the last frame.

How a 30-second ad gets made here

Write the brief as a sequence: hook, what you sell, two or three proof points, the offer, the ask. The studio plans that into timed scenes, quotes the credits, and only composes, narrates and renders after you approve. Upload your footage, photos, logo and music, or paste your website URL so brand colors, fonts, logo and page sections come across. If a scene lands wrong, ask for a change and re-render; earlier versions are all kept.

A brief you can paste

Paste this into the studio chat, or change the names and numbers first.

A 30-second summer sale video for our beachwear shop, re-rendered from the 15-second version already approved. Open on the same sunglasses-on-sand shot. Add a second category card for swimsuits after the sunglasses one. Keep the upbeat track and the cuts on the beat. On-screen text: up to 40% off, ends August 15. Casual English narration. End card: shop name, city, and the date held for three seconds, 16:9 for YouTube pre-roll.

Questions people ask

Can I turn my 15-second summer sale video into a 30-second one?

Yes. Reopen the approved version in the studio, extend the brief with an extra category or a longer hold on the end date, and it renders as a new version from the same resources. It's priced and previewed like any other version, not built from scratch.

What should the last three seconds of a 30-second summer sale ad show?

The end date on its own card, held long enough to read without narration talking over it. Pair it with the shop name and, if there's room, the discount amount, since a viewer who skips to the end should still catch the offer.
